Dinner at Liz’s – July 9, 2019

Dinner at Liz’s – July 9, 2019

On Tuesday July 9th Liz Marren had a group of ladies over for dinner so that some who couldn’t attend the party on the 7th would have a chance to say hello to Marianne Hawkins. It was a deliciously Mexican themed evening with flowing Margaritas, spicy chips and dip, tacos and fruit for dessert. Attending

60-Year Reunion – July 7, 2019

The weather cooperated beautifully for the elegant party hosted at Madelon and Earl Pearlman’s house on July 7th. There were 18 people attending (15 clasmates and 3 spouses). As before, the setting was beautiful, the food tasty and well-presented by both a laden table as well as circulating waiters. The most enjoyable time was had

Southsider’s Lunch June 13, 2019

Southsider’s Lunch June 13, 2019

Some of the Southside Regulars met for lunch at the Home Run Inn on Western Avenue on June 13th. A decidedly noisy place, but the food is plentiful and cheap. We all enjoy these monthly (for the most part) gab and food fests.

Lunch – May 02, 2019

On May 2nd the Unflappable Five met for lunch at Franklins Public House on Harlem Avenue. A brewery, but for the adventurous two, it was the Bloody Mary that satisfied. Excellent food, excellent conversation, excellent company.  A perfect day all ’round.

Cathy Riordan Full – April 4, 2019

Cathy Riordan Full – April 4, 2019

Last Friday night I returned from the most amazing trip. I joined my daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Bill in a parallel trip, not with the orchestra.
